Reflex Growth Matrix contains DH whey protein hydrolysate as its only form of protein. This is the purest form of a protein that absorbs almost instantly, this means maximum protein synthesis when you need it the most. Hydrolysed whey protein is whey protein that has been treated with enzymes to break the protein down into smaller peptides and amino acids. The benefit is that your body can absorb peptides much faster than whole proteins. Included in Growth Matrix is Vitamin B6 which is involved in protein and amino acid metabolism. Vitamin B6 helps the body to more effectively utilise the high doses of protein and amino acids found in Growth Matrix.

Growth Matrix contains a massive 7,000mg of free form L-Leucine per serving. L-Leucine is known for its ability to initiate biological signalling via mTOR (mammalian target of rapamycin) - in simple terms it may trigger increased protein synthesis when combined with hydrolysate protein and carbohydrate taken after resistance exercise.
